Floor Cleaning Robot

The floor cleaning machine is a mechanical device which is useful for daily floor cleaning purpose. This machine is electrically powered with the help of 12v DC battery and it can be operated by remote control device. This machine is easy to operate and produces a dust free and shiny surface after its use.

Solar Tree

In the era of high requirements of electricity, it is batter to obtain few percentage of this energy from Sun. In solar tree, 6 solar plates are attached to the tree-like structure at different angles and different height. The benefit of the same is that maximum energy can be obtained by obtaining sun rays on the plate. Currently we are able to run small DC fan and LED lights from this.

Swing Electricity

Many a times we enjoy our free time or sometimes people work on swing. What if this free time can be utilized for some good purpose? In this project, electricity is generated by when people swing. This oscillatory motion is converted in rotary motion and electricity is generated by using dynamometer attached with sprocket. Both sprockets are connected by a chain which drives the dynamometer.

Multi Spindle Drilling Machine

In assembly where the mass production is going on, it is good if many holes can be drilled simultaneously. This project does the same. In future work of this project, adjustment of distance between holes to be drilled is going on.

Food Dehydration Plant

Now a days, research suggest that if watery portion from the food is removed by some percentage, it will be healthier and will be eatable for a long time without using any preservative. Dehydrating food is common practice since ancient time. Now-a-days many food dehydrators are available in market but most of them are using electrical energy. In this project, solar energy is used to dehydrate the food. To absorb most of the rays of sun, walls are painted black. Hot air is circulated through plates in which food is placed. Approximate temperature can be obtained is 50 o - 55 o .

Square Drill

Since the time when drills are invented, no major change is observed in drilling pattern. The change is only in power and size of the holes. But all of them are drilling circular holes. In this project, by the use of geometry of Reuleux triangle, the path of the tool (in the shape of triangle) is guided in such a way, that hole is drilled in square pattern!! The offset while drilling is compensated by using couplings. in future work, the work is also going on for drilling hexagonal holes.

4 Way Hacksaw

This Project is focusing on simultaneous 4 operation of cutting using hacksaw. A motor drives common crank which is connected to all 4 hacksaws to be used for cutting operation. The operation can be done on objects arranged at 90 o to each other.

Hovercraft

A vehicle that can run on the surface of water and on land too. A small hovercraft is made by mechanical engineering students with great assembly skill. It is remotely operated. Two propeller and a rudder is fitted to get proper thrust and lift and to get directions.
